Does NAD+ really help the skin or is it just marketing?

Hello 🤍

Surely at some point you saw celebrities talking about NAD+ as if it were the secret to not aging.
Models, actors, even singers use it for jet lag, energy... and yes, also for the skin.

But the real question is:
Does NAD+ really work or is it just celebrity marketing?

Let's get to what's important, no smoke and mirrors.
NAD+ is a molecule that already exists in our body. All our cells need it to function properly.
Without NAD+, the body could not transform food into energy or keep cells active.

The problem is that, over time, NAD+ levels naturally decrease.
And that's where its relationship with cellular aging appears, which is why it started to attract so much attention in the world of skincare: it can influence the health, elasticity, and general appearance of the skin.

Now, when we talk about skin, we are not talking about injections or invasive treatments.
Today there are much more practical and gentle ways to support skin vitality in daily life.

For me, the key point is this:
👉 not only hydrate on the surface, but help the skin function better from its barrier.

That's why formulas that combine make sense:

  • NAD+, as a support for cellular vitality,
  • probiotics,
  • and ceramides, essential to strengthen the skin barrier and keep the skin balanced and resilient over time.

Something I personally value a lot is when a product:

  • hydrates instantly
  • does not leave a heavy sensation or residue
  • and can be used at any time of day

Especially in winter, when heating dries out the skin more than we think and fine lines are more noticeable.

A practical tip that really makes a difference:
👉 if you use a serum in mist format, shake it well before applying.
When the spray is very fine, it even reaches difficult areas such as the sides of the nose and leaves the skin fresh, luminous, and balanced instantly.

That quick "reset" we sometimes need, wherever you are.

Had you already heard about NAD+ in skincare or is this the first time?

If you're interested in me talking more about ingredients like this —what they do and when they're really worth it— tell me, I always read them 🤍
